About the Program
Blanket The World allows individuals and corporations to answer the silent cry for help coming from children and families living in extreme conditions, such as homelessness, famine, war, poverty, or natural disaster. We can make a difference in the lives of these children and adults by providing them with the comfort and warmth from our blankets.
Feed The Children, a highly-rated, nonprofit relief organization and the Community Outreach Division of Faribault Mills, a Minnesota-based blanket manufacturer, have created a unique program that provides a steady supply of wool, cotton and eco-friendly Ingeo (corn) relief blankets for the humanitarian work that Feed The Children accomplishes.
The program allows corporations, organizations, and individuals to sponsor the cost of a specific number of blankets for Feed The Children to distribute to the children and families in need. Blankets that are sponsored are distributed to those in need through Feed The Children's network of more than 50,000 partner agencies in the United States and internationally.
Blankets you purchase will be distributed to over 50,000 US homeless shelters, as well as internationally.
